A $2 million Powerball ticket was sold in Tacoma, thanks to a Power Play add-on doubling the prize. The Rocket convenience store in Tacoma will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. Several other big lottery wins occurred in Washington, including $50,000 and $100,000 prizes.
With the help of a Powerball jackpot that reached $1 billion by the end of August, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery's total revenue and the amount raised for college scholarships for the month both narrowly exceeded figures from the same month in 2024.
