Three dozen protesters were arrested Saturday night in Denver on investigation of charges ranging from blocking streets to resisting arrest, according to the police department.

Seventeen people were arrested in connection with Saturday's "No Kings" protest in Denver -- one of over 2,000 affiliated protests across the country, in which organizers say over 5 million people attended to protest the Trump administration and its policies and actions.

Denver police say they believe the vast majority of people participating in the ‘No Kings’ Protest left after the event ended around 4 p.m. FOX31's Alliyah Sims spoke with one demonstrator who said the goal was to peacefully share their message.
