A senior researcher from a groundbreaking international science and engineering collaboration returned to visit his old Glasgow primary school this week.

The University of Glasgow has maintained an overall ranking of 12th in the world in the 2025 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, out of 2,318 universities.

Five UofG academics have been awarded prestigious European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grants – the most that the University has ever been awarded in one round.
