The limited-edition official jersey for the 2024/25 UEFA Europa League final in Bilbao has been unveiled. With the 2025 UEFA Europa League final set to light up Bilbao on 21 May, a special-edition official licensed jersey has been unveiled to mark the occasion – available both physically and virtually.

UEFA picked István Kovács as its Champions League final referee on Monday, completing a European competition hat trick for the Romanian official. Kovács will take charge of the Inter Milan vs. Paris Saint-Germain title game on May 31 in Munich,

Although the winners of the Europa League automatically qualify for the Champions League next season, that may not necessarily be the case for Ruben Amorim and Co. Under UEFA rules, two clubs under the same ownership are not allowed to compete in European competitions simultaneously, even if they were in different tournaments.

Felix Zwayer has been chosen as the referee for this month’s Europa League final between Manchester United and Tottenham, with some fans sure to recognise the official’s name. Zwayer, who will officiate the all-English clash in Bilbao on 21 May, was handed a six-month ban in 2005 for his part in a match-fixing scandal.

As some Italian teams disappointed in the Champions League, Serie A will have four teams in the next edition. Inter are the only side still in the UEFA Champions League, and they will face PSG in the final.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will have a shot at redemption, as both clubs advanced to the UEFA Europa League final despite dismal domestic campaigns. The English duo, languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League table, secured commanding semi-final victories to book a spot in the showpiece final in Bilbao on May 22.
