Acts like this − much like the assination attempts on President Donald Trump, then a presidential candidate, in 2024 − pose a direct threat to conservatives and should not be brushed aside.

In an interview with NBC News, Trump talked about the Charlie Kirk assassination, criticized "a radical left group of lunatics" and called for Democratic donor George Soros to be jailed.
