The United States Geological Survey has reported a quake with a magnitude of over five close to the Aleutian Islands.
Alaska has been shaken up by seven earthquakes on Sept. 16, according to the United States Geological Survey. We look at where they hit and how big they were.
The largest recorded earthquake in United States history was the 1964 Great Alaska earthquake, which struck on March 27, 1964, and registered magnitude 9.2 on the moment magnitude scale, according to the USGS.
