Comedy Central has pulled a recent "South Park" episode from its rotation in the wake of Charlie Kirk's fatal shooting. Kirk, the founder of the conservative youth activist organization Turning Point USA, died Wednesday after he was shot during an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
"Today at about 12:10 a shot was fired at the visiting speaker, Charlie Kirk. He was hit and taken from the location by his security. Campus police is investigating, a suspect is in custody," the post says. BBC Verify has confirmed the authenticity of several videos of the shooting which have been posted online.
Kirk, 31, founder of Turning Point USA and a close ally of President Donald Trump, was shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University.
