CNN has reached out to “SNL” for comment. The announcement comes amid a shakeup on the long running late night sketch show, which will return for its 51st season. Several exits had already been announced, including Heidi Gardner, Michael Longfellow, Devon Walker and Emil Wakim.

“But after seven unforgettable seasons, I have decided to leave ‘SNL,'” the 37-year-old wrote.

“The hardest part of a great party is knowing when to say goodnight,” she wrote on an Instagram story Friday.
