FBI releases photos of person of interest in Charlie Kirk’s killing on a Utah university campus
OREM, Utah (AP) — The shooter who assassinated conservative activist Charlie Kirk and then vanished off a roof and into the woods remained at large more than 24 hours later Thursday as federal investigators appealed for the public’s help by releasing a pair of photos of the person believed responsible.
A rifle that was allegedly used in the incident has been recovered from a wooded area near Utah Valley University. The FBI confirmed it had recovered a high-powered bolt-action rifle, and the recovered firearm, an older .30 caliber hunting rifle, was wrapped in a towel.
The FBI said it offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information that leads to finding the gunman who killed conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
