An ICE agent shot and killed a man in Franklin Park, Illinois Friday morning after authorities say he attempted to drive into agents as they tried to make an arrest.
Franklin Park was lit up during the Columbus Water Lantern Festival Saturday night. The park hosted multiple festivities, including craft vendors and food trucks for many to enjoy, leading up to the main event of the night.
Franklin Park’s fall paving program is in full swing, covering 2.76 miles of roads this year. This is a drop in paving miles from previous years because of budget cuts, according to borough Manager Zach Filous.
