A very important part of Hulu’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot puzzle has just been revealed: who’ll be taking on the new generation of vampires alongside original star Sarah Michelle Gellar? It’s 15-year-old Ryan Kiera Armstrong, last seen as Fern on Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.

In every generation there is a chosen one, and Generation Alpha’s has just been announced. 15-year-old American Horror Story and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew actor Ryan Kiera Armstrong will be joining OG Buffy the Vampire Slayer star (and reboot producer) Sarah Michelle Gellar in the series revival Hulu pilot.

The “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” reboot may have blood ties to the original. In a sit-down with Us Weekly, Sarah Michelle Gellar, joined by Alyson Hannigan, said she knows “a few” children of original “Buffy” cast members who auditioned for the Hulu reboot.
