Australia-based Woodside Energy has completed the sale of a 40% interest in its Louisiana LNG project to global investment firm Stonepeak.
Global energy company Woodside has sold a 40% stake in the planned Louisiana LNG facility, which is approved to produce 27.6 million tonnes of LNG per year, to US investment firm Stonepeak.
JERA and Woodside are finalising a five-year deal for 200,000tpa of LNG, with three winter shipments starting in FY27.
