Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek claimed the grand prizes with their respective singles championship wins, but overall the 2025 tournament saw an 8% increase in total prize money from last year's tournament.

Golf Digest on MSNBritish Open 2025: R&A makes surprise move with prize money payoutsFor the first time since 2012, the Open Championship is not increasing its purse from the previous year. The total payouts will total $17 million, with the winner receiving $3.1 million. The U.S. Open at Oakmont also kept its similar payout from 2024.
The total prize pool handed out at the MLB Home Run Derby is a whopping $2.5 million. However, it isn't winner-takes-all. While the champion receives $1 million off the top, the rest of the money is then trickled down to the rest of the participants in a variety of ways.
The winner of the Wimbledon men's singles will receive 3 million GBP in 2025, equivalent to approximately $4.09 million. It represents an 11.1% increase in prize money for the tournament champion over the 2024 amount.
