Characters from the original series will be making appearances on the spinoff, including original series star Gabriel Macht – set for a three-episode stint as Harvey Specter. Macht has not yet filmed his scenes, so will appear later in the season, and it took some convincing to bring him on board.

Suits' Gabriel Macht—who grew up in Los Angeles but has since moved out of the United States—said it was "heartbreaking" to see what remains of Pacific Palisades after the city's massive wildfire.

"I'm not interested in continuing on. The story is done, and we had a really good ride and all of that," Macht tells EW.

Six years after Suits wrapped, the beloved legal drama is making a comeback with the new spinoff Suits LA. The show is set in Los Angeles and follows a fresh team of powerhouse lawyers in the City of Angels.

Those in Canada have a few options. Firstly, Suits LA debuts on CTV on Sunday, February 23 at 9pm ET/PT – the very same time as its US release – and available to stream via the CTV.ca website or CTV app for free (but for a limited time).
