For its 250th birthday, the Army put on the largest show of military might in the capital in more than three decades.

On Saturday, for the first time in more than 30 years, the U.S. military is holding a big parade. The event is intended to celebrate the 250th birthday of the Army and to remind Americans of their debt to men and women in uniform.

The final sections of marching troops at the Army's 250th anniversary parade represented the Army’s future, and included small drones flying over the heads of soldiers and robot dogs in camouflage paint.
