Governor Greg Abbott has until the end of day on Sunday to decide whether or not he will veto a bill that will ban all products containing the intoxicating chemical in hemp.

Former Texas Longhorn running back Ricky Williams is urging Gov. Greg Abbott, an avid Texas football fan, to veto a proposed ban on THC products. The Heisman winner posted a video online Thursday - just days before the deadline for Abbott to either veto or sign the legislation - saying recreational hemp products that the regulations would target are safer than opioids and are helping veterans with PTSD and Texans with chronic pain.
