Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes had an epic celebration with a Texas Tech fan who won a putting contest Monday night at men’s basketball game.

Patrick Mahomes is getting over Super Bowl disappointment by watching others enjoy their sports pinnacle. During the first half of the Houston’s 69-61 win over Mahomes’ alma mater Texas Tech, one Red Raiders fan lined up an incredible 94-foot putt and nailed it after finding a slow and steady path to the hole.

As for the game itself, the Red Raiders fell short of upsetting Kelvin Sampson’s team again, as they lost this time to Houston, 69-61. It was a payback win for the Cougars, who lost in Houston to Texas Tech on Feb. 1, 82-81. With that defeat, Texas Tech dropped to 21-7 overall and 12-5 in Big 12 play.
