LSU star linebacker Whit Weeks was ejected from the third-ranked Tigers’ game against Florida on Saturday night for targeting after a helmet-to-helmet hit on Florida receiver Vernell Brown III.

Florida expected to enter its Week 3 contest against LSU with a 2-0 record and a top-25 ranking; however, both of those went out the door once USF pulled off an 18-16 upset.

Florida’s 18-16 loss to the South Florida Bulls Sept. 6 was more about self-destruction than being outplayed.
