Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride was fined over $11,000 for taunting against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3. The fine seemed a bit excessive, especially with no flag coming on the play - unless McBride truly said some wild stuff - but judging by the surrounding people it didn't seem like it.

Tight end Trey McBride became the first Arizona Cardinals player fined this season when tape review cost him $11,593 for taunting San Francisco 49ers safety Marques Sigle after a 17-yard reception in the second quarter in last Sunday’s 16-15 loss.

Ever since the NFL created a rule against lowering the helmet and making forcible contact with an opponent, plenty of fines have been imposed.
