Apr 8, 2020 · Hi, I plugged in my Surface Pro 6 today and it won't charge. Just the LED in the tip blinking randomly. I verified that the power supply works fine by plugging it into my older Surface Pro 2017 and it works as usual, solid LED. What should I do? This SP6 is not plugged into any USB device, microSD, and/or Type Cover.

I happen to have multiple surfaces in house, including a Surface dock 2. The chargers vary from 39, 65 to 127 Watt output; the dock has 120 Watt power delivery. I used to pick whatever charger is available for whatever device.
