I also drilled out porthole and added anchor chains. The PE is generic railings and such. I added the funnel grates and depth charge racks from some etched grid sheets I had.

Also issued by Airfix Corporation of America as kit number S4-39 (1964 to 1966). Issued as 01205-6 from 1973 to 1982. Type 4D Box. Dual coloured round logo. 1972 to 1975. Apr 26, 2012 · The second model is HMS Hotspur, modified for convoy escort work. Some minor modifications were replacing the second set of tubes with a scratch built 4-inch HA gun, removing 'Y' gun to make room for extra depth charge throwers, removing the quad .50 cal machineguns and adding six 20mm Oerlikon cannon.
