Mar 28, 2023 · have you tried using the full screen mode recently? we did add a floating toolbar in this view so you don't have anything but the title of the OneNote and your pens. there's a little pen icon to the far right that lets you toggle the floating ink toolbar on and off.

Aug 25, 2023 · Try to manually update: File > Account > Update Options > Update Now. Sometimes it also takes a restart. There is a difference in OneNote (2016 aka the new desktop version) between installing it in conjunction with an Office license (2021 or 365) or standalone.
