Nov 20, 2022 · So if you try to connect two gears like this that are small enough (12t and 24t for example), you might have an issue where the mesh is too loose. But for most gear sizes you’d use on a drive, it’s close enough to work.

Dec 10, 2007 · It may be useful for builders to have a regular 24 tooth gear, to aid in the making of certain gear ratios without the use of chains. Are you talking for use in drivetrains/arm gearing/etc.? From looking at the pictures of the product, I believe it would not work except for 1:1 24 tooth gearing.
