Feb 10, 2021 · It allows me to readily see what happens on a normal screen, quickly see if I have shared the proper window, sound, etc. And it saved my bacon once when my main computer crashed in the middle of a meeting. As for recording the event, you will see it if the person records via Zoom, but not through any other screen-grabbing application.

Oct 5, 2020 · But I found that by going through the zoom settings under Video > Advance > untick/uncheck the options under "Use Hardware acceleration for" video processing and receiving videos seems to work for me! Settings > video > advance > use hardware acceleration for > uncheck video processing and uncheck receiving videos. Hope this works for you as well!
