Los fásmidos (Phasmida o Phasmatodea, del griego antiguo φάσμα phasma, ‘aparición o espíritu’) son un orden de insectos neópteros conocidos comúnmente como insectos palo e insectos hoja, palotes (Chile y Argentina), zacatones o campamochas (México), matacaballos (Colombia).
