Here's a little hack for turning your boat quickly in choppy conditions 🌊 ⬇️ Try initiating your turn at the peak of the wave. This gets the ends of the boat out of the water and, combined with a bit of edge, briefly changes the boat's rocker, effectively making it shorter.
