The tree had been checked before the session and all was well. The sling was less than a meter high in the tree. In the middle of the session, after spending about 20 minutes bouncing, the tree collapsed, leaving me with a backup that was attached to a tree further back with slackline

⚠ Fail Friday ⚠ TLDR: My name is Benoit Brume, I am an experienced highliner. And I almost died because I forgot to leash in. ‼️ BUDDYCHECK YOURSELF AND OTHERS ‼️ 🔸 Place and context: I was attending an unofficial Highline gathering near Marseille, France with around 10 lines rigged in a small valley above the sea. The lines are about half above rock and half above the sea, the relief is progressive, so I would say a cozy and non intimidating spot. The spot was not new for me, and the atmospher
