Jackson is a six-year-old Basset Griffon Vendeen. Two years ago, he fell off of his owner’s bed the wrong way, and suffered severe spinal damage and was paralyzed. Not being able to afford a major spinal surgery or care for him, his owner surrendered him to a rescue hero in Texas. Unfortunately, his surgery wasn’t able to happen, but she loved him and cared for him as he was, and life was good.
