This trend on Twitter where accounts completely make up statements made by celebs/athletes etc has got to be one of the worst things to happen on this app.

The only thing that makes me sick on Twitter now is the way lies travel.Anyone can post a lie and it’ll get 5 million views. Nobody questions the truth anymore. Nobody.Even if you hate somebody, show your hate by using facts, not lies.The worse part is that many of these people are gullible. They consume the contents without verifying. Who do we blame for these lies? Elon or users?
