Worn synchros are frustrating! My 46-year-old Porsche 915 gearbox likely had original synchros, which is why it was prone to grinding when shifting, especially into 2nd gear. We’re considering adding a streetable torque-biasing @wavetrac_differentials since it’s got an open diff now, and possibly changing to close ratio @nopoliticsracing gears and one-piece bearing retaining plate.
