Cube Top: symmetry axes are often associated with interesting physics- surprisingly a cube can be spun like a top and is stable as long as it is not too tilted. Friction will dissipate the kinetic energy, and the top tilts more and more as it precesses. Once the tilt exceeds 45 degrees a corner will collide with the table surface producing a chaotic tumble which brings it to rest.
