Angela Reading had coloured sand scattered across her yard from Tihar celebrations. Then she saw the coloured sand products had been recalled by the ACCC over asbestos contamination concerns. She said that when she contacted WorkSafe ACT, she was told to cordon off the area and pay for an asbestos company to remove the sand. Mrs Reading said it is frustrating when the advice given to parents on the issue is impractical and wants the ACT government to consider offering testing of sand samples. #A
